Telemedicine: Virtual Doctor Visit

A Telemedicine appointment is very similar to what would happen in person. Patients have a scheduled appointment time where they will receive a text message or email link that takes them to a check-in lobby. When the physician is ready to see a patient, both parties are connected via videoconference so that they can see each other.

Telemedicine Example

With accessibility in mind, we’ve made a Telemedicine appointment an extremely simple and easy experience for patients to use. Your visit will be accessible from a desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone that has a camera and microphone. No app or download is required.

Preparing for your Telemedicine Visit

Similar to a regular visit, an appointment will need to be made, by calling us (Orange County: 407-905-8827 or Lake County 352-314-7400) to schedule a date and time. Prior to your visit, you will receive a text message or email directing you to join the lobby, where you will meet with your provider.
